ARYV stands for Always Raise Youth Voices

Camp ARYV is a camp in Grand Rapids, MI that creates space for young people to harness their community organizing, advocacy, and activism skills. We’ve had camps in 2021, 2022 & 2023. Our campers talked about food justice, activism and art, learned from youth organizers in Chicago and Detroit, discussed restorative justice and intersectionality, and so much more. Our campers even planned and executed their own actions on critical issues in their lives like housing, police violence and environmental justice.
